A meeting with the Township Administrative Organization (Pa Ah Pha) and Law Officers in the townships where the Law Offices were established was held on July 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
U Thein Oo, the Union Minister delivered a commencement speech that the forthcoming energetic and well-planned disposition and the movement that leads to a federal union will practically come into existence and which are to be internationally recognized.
He also clarified that the main activity of the Ministry of Justice is to focus on criminal justice system which is called Federal Justice, as well as on Civil Justice in which justice must be done in every case by investigating crimes and injustices in the villages, towns, and regions. And he added that the activities of Public Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) and Public Administrative Organization (Pa Ah Pha) are vital in territorial domination and the organizations were needed to be dutiful and faithful to the responsibility given by the Nation through the Spring Revolution. Moreover, he urged the formation of a township committee of rule of law and gave words of thanks to the attendees at the end of his speech.
At the meeting, the leaders of the township administrative organization and law officers in respective townships made individual introductions, presentations about the crime situation in the respective townships and provision of legal advice accordingly.
Then, discussions were made regarding coordination on respective responsibilities and the extent of smooth operation of the law offices in the respective townships.
In addition, the discussion and the negotiation were also made about the measures of necessities to form a township committee of rule of law and eventually the forthcoming plans were made. The meeting was successfully concluded at 3:00 PM Yangon Time.
