On International Day of Action for Women’s Health, the Ministry of Justice would like to pray for the health and well-being of women around the world, especially Myanmar women who are bravely and actively participating in the Spring Revolution to restore the rule of law and achieve democracy in Myanmar.

In the Spring Revolution, Myanmar women are also taking part as an essential role in the struggle for democracy and justice. Accordingly, the physical health and mental strength of the women participating in the Spring Revolution have to be prioritized not only for them but also for the justice struggle we are fighting for.

Therefore, as for the Ministry of Justice, we have been working hard to ensure that all women in Myanmar have access to health rights especially during the crisis of revolution. We also pledge to ensure access to comprehensive health care, including mental health support, for women serving in the People’s Defense Forces of the Spring Revolution.

With honor on Myanmar women’s sacrifices in the Spring Revolution, the Ministry of Justice enjoys and values the International Day of Action for Women’s Health, promising and ensuring to make an effort for policies that protect and promote freedom, justice, and rights of all individual women.
